Classic Sambazon Açai Bowl

Serves 2

 2 sachets Sambazon Açai  

¼ cup almond milk (slowly add the milk until the smoothie bowl is a thick consistency)

2 frozen bananas

Sprinkle maca powder

Blend all ingredients together, starting with ¼ cup almond milk and adding the remaining amount slowly, if needed, scraping down the edges between blending.   

Pour into a bowl and top with a giant tablespoon of peanut butter, buckinis or mixed fresh fruit of your choice.

Ultimate Açai Bowl

Ingredients: 

2 sachets Sambazon açai

1/2 frozen banana

1/3 cup frozen blueberries

1/4 cup coconut water

1/2 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 tbsp hemp seeds

1 serving of your favourite granola and fruits to serve

Method:

Place all ingredients except granola and fresh fruit into a food processor and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides a few times.

Pour into a bowl and top with granola and fruit.
Enjoy!

Bowl Ingredients:

4 sachets Sambazon açai

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen berries

Bowl Toppings:

1 Passionfruit

1/2 mango

10 raspberries

Handful of goji berries

2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter

Sprinkle of coconut flakes

Sprinkle of hemp seeds

 

Method

1. In a blender, process the açai, banana and berries with 1/2 cup of water. Blitz until smooth.

2. Spoon evenly into two bowls.

3. Divide the toppings in half and spread over the two bowls.
Enjoy!

Açai + Berry Popsicles

Serves 8

Ingredients:

1 sachet Sambazon açai

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen blueberries

1/3 cup frozen raspberries and blackberries

1 tbs maple syrup

1/2 cup coconut water

1 tbs maqui powder

 

Method:

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a high powered blender til it's smooth and combined.

  2. Pour the blended mixture into a popsicles mold.

  3. Pop the mold in the freezer overnight to set.
    Enjoy!

Hello Glow's Hormone Balancing Vegan Hot Chocolate

A delicious vegan hot chocolate recipe that's also an elixir for balancing hormones and boosting your mood.

As soon as the temperature drops and rainy days seem never ending, warm, comforting drinks make their delicious way into my kitchen. There is nothing like coming home from a long walk in the rain or from a harsh day at the office and having a cup of hot, creamy hot chocolate to warm and cheer you up.

 

Ingredients

Vegan, Gluten free, Paleo

Produce

  • 4 tsp Cacao powder, organic raw
  • 5 Dates, dry pitted

Refrigerated

  • 2 5 cups almond milk

Baking & spices

  • 3 tsp Lucuma powder
  • 2 tsp Maca powder
  • 1 pinch Sea salt
  • 3 drops Vanilla extract, organic pure

Nuts & seeds

  • 4 tsp Chia seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl add the chia seeds and pitted dates, pour over a half of cup almond milk and let soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Transfer into the blender, alongside with the rest of the ingredients, and process to obtain a smooth liquid.
  3. Add it into a medium sauce pan and heat until comfortably to drink. Do not bring to boil, because the lucuma and maca nutrients can be destroyed.
